Siding replacement →Carrollton, TX · Dallas, Denton & Collin counties
Much of Carrollton was built in the 1970s and ’80s. Behind the brick, many of those houses still have original hardboard or plywood panel siding on gables, chimney chases, second stories and garage fronts.
Old panel siding can be replaced with fiber cement or engineered wood panels, including grooved and board-and-batten styles, so gables and chimney chases keep a similar look. Because these panels often double as the wall’s structural sheathing, we check what is behind them and add a proper weather barrier and flashing before new material goes on.
Chimney chase with stains on the inside ceiling? The problem is often the chase siding and its flashing, not the roof. It is worth an inspection before the next storm season.
If your home was built before 1978, the original paint may contain lead. Ask how it will be handled before any scraping or tear-off starts.
Every job starts with an inspection of the wall, not a product pitch.

Hail damage →FAQ
T1-11 is a grooved plywood panel siding common on homes of this era. Once its paint fails, water gets into the edges and the layers start to separate. Delaminated panels cannot be repaired with paint; they need replacing.
Yes. These areas are often replaced on their own, with new flashing and a weather barrier. We match or complement the look of the rest of the house.
Not for the siding work itself. Permits and inspections go through the City of Carrollton, whichever county your home is in.
Stay off ladders and the roof, photograph every wall, gutter and vent from the ground before anything is cleaned, note the storm date and check your policy. Then book a free storm inspection — our hail damage guide covers each step.
